Biography
Maria Tzaboura is a greek cartoonist/illustrator, born in 1972.
She was awarded a BA (Hons) VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS DESIGN, by Middlessex University, in London, in 1994.
She has been working as a comic strip cartoonist and illustrator in the newspaper ( «TO VIMA», «PROTO THEMA» ) and magazine market for more than twelve years.
She has been awarded with the National Award of children’s books Illustration for 2006, for the book «Friends? You bet!» by Frantzeska Aleksopoulou – Petraki.
She entered the children’s book business in 2003 and she will keep working as a free lance illustrator for children’s books ever after!
