Biography
Spiros Derveniotis was born in Athens in 1969.
He has created several comic strips and short stories for a variety of publications, in addition to his daily work as a political cartoonist. His daily strip 'Incompatibles' has been collected in several volumes by Ellinika Grammata editions, as did his 'Rave Mom' series, published by Eleftherotypia editions.
He has collaborated with scriptwriters D. Vanellis and D. Kalaizis for the 'Fanouris Aplas' series (four volumes, Mamouth editions) and with Antonis Vavagiannis for 'The Photographer' series (Ellinika Grammata editions). Also in print is his book 'Why do they hate us?' (both in Greek and in English translation), a collection of political cartoons.
